Beban Ganda Malnutrisi: Studi Kasus di Dua Desa

Beban ganda malnutrisi (double burden of malnutrition) merupakan kondisi di mana masalah kekurangan gizi dan kelebihan gizi terjadi secara bersamaan dalam satu komunitas atau bahkan dalam satu keluarga. Penelitian deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan prevalensi dan pola beban ganda malnutrisi pada balita di Desa BI dan Desa WS sepanjang tahun 2025 berdasarkan data rekap status gizi bulanan. Data dianalisis menggunakan tiga indikator antropometri standar WHO, yaitu Berat Badan menurut Umur (BB/U), Tinggi Badan menurut Umur (TB/U), dan Berat Badan menurut Tinggi Badan (BB/TB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua desa mengalami beban ganda malnutrisi secara bersamaan: kasus stunting kumulatif mencapai 1.088 kasus, wasting 280 kasus, dan underweight 636 kasus, sementara di sisi lain ditemukan kasus risiko gizi lebih, gizi lebih, dan obesitas yang cukup signifikan. Beban tertinggi terjadi pada bulan Agustus dan Oktober. Desa BI secara konsisten mencatat angka lebih tinggi dibanding Desa WS. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya strategi gizi yang komprehensif dan tidak hanya berfokus pada satu sisi spektrum malnutrisi.
