Plagiarism
Every manuscript submitted to Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara must be free from content containing plagiarism. Authors are advised to use plagiarism detection software to check for similarity of content. Editors detect plagiarism in articles submitted to Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara using anti-plagiarism software (Turnitin). The maximum limit for plagiarism according to the provisions of Ristekdikti is 25%.
The Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara Editorial Team acknowledges that plagiarism is unacceptable. This condition determines the policy of specific actions (punishments) if plagiarism is identified and indicated in an article submitted for publication in Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara.
Definition:
Plagiarism is an intentional or unintentional act in obtaining or attempting to obtain credit or value for a scientific work, by citing part or all of the work and/or scientific work of another party that is recognized as their scientific work, without stating the source appropriately and adequately.
The following are some things that are included in the act of plagiarism: Submitting articles that are the work of others without any references; Paraphrasing without stating a clear source; and Using ideas, theories, data, or information without including a clear source.
If plagiarism is identified, then, the Editor-in-Chief is responsible for reviewing the article and will approve the action according to the level of plagiarism detected, with the following guidelines:
Plagiarism Level & Sanctions:
1. Plagiarizing part of a short sentence from another article without citing the source. Action: The author is given a warning and a request to change the text and cite correctly.
2. Plagiarizing most of another article without proper citation and not citing the source. Action: The submitted article is rejected for publication in the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara and the Author may be sanctioned to not be allowed to publish in the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara.
All article authors are responsible for the content of the articles they submit because they all sign the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara Publication Ethics Statement Form which will be given when the manuscript is declared accepted. If the Article is classified as plagiarized, then all authors will be subject to the same action.
If the Author is proven to have submitted a manuscript to the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara while simultaneously submitting it to another Journal, and this overlap is found during the reviewer process or after publication, then action will be taken according to point 2 above. Authors who submit their articles for publication in the Jurnal Keshatan Farmasi Nusantara must truly guarantee that their manuscripts are free from these things. If plagiarism is proven in the article, then the author must be willing to accept sanctions in accordance with the law and the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara has the right to impose sanctions according to the editorial team's policy.
