Publication Process

  1. Manuscript Submission
  • Authors submit articles through the OJS (Open Journal System) Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara.
  • Manuscripts must comply with the journal template and comply with the author guidelines.
  • Manuscripts are checked for initial format by the editor to ensure completeness of administration and technical requirements.
  1. Initial Screening
  • The editor checks originality using turnitin, (maximum similarity 25%).
  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the scope of the journal will be rejected directly (desk rejection).
  1. Peer Reviewer Assignment
  • Manuscripts that pass the initial examination are sent to at least 2 reviewers via double-blind review.
  • Reviewers come from outside the author's affiliation and have expertise in the field of the article.
  1. Peer Review Process
  • Reviewers assess aspects of novelty, relevance, methodology, data validity, and theoretical and practical contributions.
  • The assessment is given in the form of:
  • Accepted without revision
  • Minor revision
  • Major revision
  • Rejected
  1. Editorial Decision
  • Based on the reviewer's recommendation, the editor makes a decision: accept, request revision, or reject.
  • If revised, the author is given a certain time (usually 2–3 weeks) to improve the manuscript.
  1. Final Checking and Layout
  • After the revision is received, the editor checks the conformity of the revision with the reviewer's input.
  • Manuscripts that pass are checked for grammar (language editing), layout (template conformity), and bibliography.
  • The article is then prepared for the final layout.
  1. Proofreading and Final Approval
  • The author will receive a proof (copy of the final layout) to be checked again.
  • The author must provide final confirmation before the article is published.
  1. Online Publication
  • Articles are published online on the Jurnal Kesehatan Farmasi Nusantara website.
